wednesday was our last day of school, the very last day we'll be having lessons as a class, the very last day we'll be going for flag raising together, the very last day we'll see our teachers teaching in class and the very last day, 4ly will be seated like we always do in our 4ly classroom.
i was really sad when i went down for flag raising. i was teling myself, this would be the last time i'll be standing here as part of chungcheng's cohort, wearing chungcheng uniform, singing the national anthem and school song. when flag raising begun, i felt my heart was so heavy. the national anthem was playing and i kept looking at the admin block and told myself, this is my secondary school and my secondary school journey's coming to an end. memories of my days in chungcheng started to flash past my mind. when the school song started, i told myself that, i must sing it, for the very last time. and that very day, our school song was the loudest. the sec4s were singing so loudly, for the very first time. in the past, no one wanted to sing the school song at all, but for the first and last time, everyone was singing it, just because of a very simple reason. we are all leaving, and we wont have the chance to sing it again, anymore.
tears started welling up in my eyes throughout the whole song. i kept looking upwards just to prevent my tears from coming down. but at the pledge part i looked down and a stream of tears rolled down. sounds like a compo right? haha, but its true. this is not the worst part yet. when mr soon asked the sec 1 to3s turn around to clap for us, i started crying again. i saw the smiles on the face of the teachers who were clapping for us, and of cos the juniors who were looking at us. it seems like, they were really having high hopes for us, and they were really giving us their genuine blessings for the exams. i felt so touched at that moment and until now i still can remember that scene, and i feel like crying again :(
14102006. the day has come, our graduation from chungcheng. everything that day, once again, was for the very last time. can you imagine, i was crying even when mr lo was speaking. thats dumb, i know but that was uncontrollable >.< i cried at the school song once again, and when the teachers came into the audi. i cried when i saw other classes' presentations, but i dint for my own class'. i only cried when we said "wan sui" to our teachers. after the ceremony was another "flooding session".
im really very appreciative for all that the teachers have done for all of us. in fact, i dint only know how to cherish their presence at this graduation ceremony but throughout the entire sec4 life. its like, everyday in class, the teachers seem to be preparing us for a war- olevels. they came into class each day, wanting to empower us with knowledge so that we'll be able to do well. and now that its the last lap, its all up to us to decide how far we wana go. they have done all they could, and its time we go on our own. i feel so sad and afraid leaving them cos im fearful that i'll disappoint them. i really wish i could go up to them on the day of the olevel results and tell them with pride that ive done them proud. but..
and 4 loyalty, my beloved sec 4 class. no doubt, the award for zzjsj came as a surpise and shock for all of us, but im sure we truly deserve this as well. we might not be the class with really good grades, although we are the "3rd best" class, we've always disappointed our teachers in terms of our academics, but we're really one cooperative and talented class. and of course, we've got a really sweet and caring form teacher: mdm kee, two nice class chairpersons: sean and shipei, and 2 "adorable" class treasurers: zhijun & shikun, and not forgetting our efficient class committee. no matter wad, 4 loyalty still rocks and we are the champions (: all the best to each and everyone of you for your olevels, lets make our subject teachers proud of us, for one last time. i love you guys!

my chungcheng life will never be complete without you: CCHMSCO. co has left me so much beautiful, sweet yet bitter memories, esp our syf, esplanade performance and co night. i know i havent been a really good tuanzhang but i really enjoyed the times in chungcheng co and i think you guys rock (: i really miss those times going for co practices, playing my yangqin and being with co people. i heard that you guys are progressing well and im feeling happy for you all. continue to jiayou and i see a gold with honours ahead of yu! i promise i'll come back to visit you guys after my olevels :D
pupil council. i really regretted i havent put in much for the councilor stuff and getting to know each and every one of you more. thank you for the wonderful farewell party that you guys have put up for us, and i really enjoyed those items and songs blahblah. i still remember when i first became a councilor when i was in sec2, i was really so excited, haha. i missed those times when we had to do duties like ushering and those saigang. after i became secretary i missed out so many things, drifted away from section 4, and dint get to know so many of you. if i had another chance, i promise i will put in alot more for this board. but no matter what, i think being a councilor still rocks, so juniors in there, enjoy! (:
2courage was an important part of my chungcheng life as well. if people were to ask me which part of my 4 years was the most memorable, i would say sec2 because those times were spent with you guys. so many of us have already drifted apart til today, but i still loved those times we were together as a class, our class chalets blahblah. when are we going to have our next class gathering? :D
i love chungcheng, really. it took away 4years of my life, but left me with beautiful memories for eternity. i'll miss that lake, i'll miss those long walks into school. i'll miss those teachers, i'll miss my friends and juniors. i'll miss having to put those seven buttons onto my uniform, i'll miss singing the school song.
today im proud of chungcheng, tmr chungcheng will be proud of me.
